But I will admit that RE2 Remake is better than RE3 Remake like a lot of people say, but I personally prefer RE3 Remake over 2, just because Jill is my most favorite RE character. It's really the story, lore, and appealing characters of Resident Evil that makes people fall in love with the franchise, but of course the theme is a part of it too
What doesn't help is the features introduced in B-scenarios by both games: Resident Evil 2 includes the fearsome Tyrant T-00 in its B-scenarios, and REMake 2's B-scenario introduces a new handgun for each character to use: Leon gets the M19 (from Resident Evil VII: Biohazard) which features greater headshot capability, but Claire gets the

Sometimes modernizing a game doesn't actually make it better. 2020's Resident Evil 3 is certainly a more polished title than the original game, yet it removed too much. Capcom decided to cut certain puzzles and locations from the adventure, which made the experience briefer than the original — and the 1999 title was already among the shortest
Play the original first. The twists and surprises that the remake brings will be appreciated more if you play the original first. So there really is appreciation to be had with the changes huh.
